About this time of year, folks in the northern part of the U.S. are done with snow, but for those of us in sunny locations like Phoenix and Southern California, it’s an excuse to play. A recent trip to Disneyland Resort and Disney’s California Adventure provided just such an opportunity with lots of extras. For this Family Friday, why don’t you join our family fun as we relive some highlights?
Learn to draw Olaf at the Animation Academy.
Play in the snow at Olaf’s Snow Fest. It doesn’t feel as crowded as it looks.
Be sure to get in line for sledding early in your Olaf’s Snow Fest visit or you will run out of time to do it.
We couldn’t resist building a snowman… and then eating it!
When the sun goes down, Freeze the Night! comes alive with spectacular lighting and dance music.
There were beautiful ice sculptures. Of course the best one was our favorite snowman!
Marshmallow is huge, but not so scary here. We paused for a photo.
For the little princesses, one could get Fastpasses to meet Anna and Elsa, but we chose a much shorter line for Olaf. He’s always up for a selfie with guests!
Want to catch some Frozen Fun for yourself? It’s included in your admission for Disney’s California Adventure. You’ll have to hurry, though. Like all snow, it’s scheduled to melt in the spring (May 15, 2015)!
