The “Happiest Place on Earth” seems a little happier around the holidays. I’ve always found the time around Christmas to be magical so it seemed fitting that Disneyland Resort would take the extra steps to make everything even more so. Here are just a few highlights:
What would the holidays be without a winter makeover for Sleeping Beauty’s Castle?
It’s a Small World is always lovely, but coated in colored lights, it’s extraordinary!
I wish I could share the entire Jungle Cruise, rethemed as Jingle Cruise. A shipment of “missing” holiday decorations is found throughout the ride. Plus, if you’re a fan of those silly jokes, they’ve also gotten a holiday makeover. It really made an old favorite new again.
California Adventure gets in on the fun with a lovely Christmas tree. Santa can also be found here.
Cars Land decorations were just darling!
Check out the hubcap ornaments on the tree!
World of Color also received a holiday makeover courtesy of our host, Olaf.
I took lots of photos during this special edition of World of Color, including a video of the Toy Story Nutcracker portion, but had to share the lovely ending.
That may look like a handful of ordinary bubbles, but it’s not. They flew through the sky shaped like a snowflake after World of Color. All the kids wanted to catch them. It made for a lovely ending to a fantastic day and a magical trip.
