Why the Treehouse Villas Are My “Go To” Resort for Relaxation at Walt Disney World

Looking for relaxation at Walt Disney World Resort or other Disney Parks? Look no further. Join me as I explore why the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa is my “go to” resort for relaxation and then check out other choices in this month’s Blogorail Orange Loop.

It can be difficult to take time out to relax on a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, especially if one doesn’t get there often. You’ve paid all that money so you want to see and do everything! Unfortunately, unless you’re planning to be there for weeks, it’s just not possible, so prioritize and take some time for yourself. After all, it’s your vacation… and I have just the place to do it, a Treehouse Villa at Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa.

Why the Treehouse Villas Are My Go To Disney Resort for Relaxation2What can be a disadvantage of the Treehouse Villas, I find to be the perfect advantage. They are a bit remote. If using Disney Transportation, one must take the main buses to and from Saratoga Springs and then take a second bus to and from the Treehouse Villas. One can also walk. It can be a long walk, but a beautiful one through the trees surrounding the Villas, across the golf course, and onto the main grounds of Saratoga Springs. If one has a car, however, parking is quite convenient with a couple of spaces available next to each Villa.

I find this remoteness to be best for relaxation, however. The surrounding trees give each Villa a feeling of privacy. I can sit on the deck reading a book or just enjoying the sounds of the birds and relaxing. One quick note here, though. Be sure to get a Villa away from the golf course. I was in one Villa where stray golf balls would hit the deck. That certainly is not conducive to relaxation.

Another reason I find the Treehouse Villas to be relaxing is that they are part of the Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa property. Notice the resort even has spa in its name. There is a full-service Senses Spa right on property. If enjoying the remoteness and quiet of your Villa wasn’t enough, a massage is certain to do the trick.

The Treehouse Villas also have their own pools. They are smaller than the main pools over at Saratoga Springs, but that means they are also less crowded. I’ve had the pool to myself. Imagine lounging in a quiet pool chair surrounded by trees and relative quiet right in the middle of Walt Disney World.

Why the Treehouse Villas are the Go To Disney Resort for RelaxationFinally, the Treehouse Villas are large. They have three bedrooms, a living room, dining area, and kitchen. Instead of being crammed into a small hotel room, each family member can go off to their own space allowing peace for everyone. In addition, the master bedroom comes complete with a large jetted tub to relax those tired muscles and aching feet from those days in the parks.

Is it any wonder why choose the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs and Spa as my “go to” resort to relax at Walt Disney World?

One final note – They do, of course, have a price tag attached, but… if you are a Disney Vacation Club member, they can be rented for fewer points than other 3-bedroom Villas because they are smaller. In fact, sometimes they are about the same as a 2-bedroom. If you’re not a Disney Vacation Club member, they can be rented with cash, but a less expensive option may be by renting points from a third party. It’s at least worth a little investigating, especially if you end up enjoying the Treehouse Villas as much as I do.
